Reno: Films & animation
An animated product story and a series of social films that make home renovation feel personal, timely and possible.

The project
From the everyday chaos of a busy home to the possibilities of a fresh space, the Reno films turn a renovation proposition into human stories. The series spans summer campaign films, character animation and short social messages.
The thinking
Challenge
A renovation platform has to communicate more than a finished room: homeowners also need to understand choice, project visibility and the route from an idea to a usable space.
Goal
Make the service understandable while giving Reno a recognizable, human voice across emotional stories, product explanations and commercial content.
Direction
The explainer translates the product journey into a homeowner story. The broader content plan connects that emotional language with transformations, educational formats and product-led content.
The animation
The product explainer follows a homeowner from the first idea toward a finished space. Character animation gives the renovation journey a warm, approachable language. Samim’s behind-the-scenes film shows the animation work behind the finished story.
The campaign series
The summer films share one situation: finding a calm moment in a busy home. Later pieces explore how homes change with life, and how flexible payments can make a renovation feel more accessible.
Project credit
Samim led the creative concepts, design, animation and AI animation for Reno, with script contributions on selected pieces.
A repeatable content system
The strategic content plan extends beyond individual films: reusable After Effects structures, consistent topic voices, motion treatments and shared transitions make different formats feel part of the same brand. Emotional animation was an established direction; several educational and app-focused formats were still proposed or in development in that plan.
The work evolved
The 2025 work includes the animated explainer and the published campaign series. A later residential brief in March 2026 focused on layouts, sequencing, editing and pacing for villa and penthouse creatives using client-provided material. The production scope is distinct from Reno’s property services and media-buying results.
Designed to repeat
The original Figma file organizes the ad treatment into seven size variants, with reusable carousel indicators. This selected component shows the commercial-space message within that system. It is an archived design, not a current financing offer.
